NFC and Met Mex Penoles (Mexico) signed a contract for the 280,000 t/a Lead Smelter Project in Mexico. Upon the completion, the processing capacity will reach 540,000 t/a silver-containing lead materials, and the annual output will be 280,000 t refined lead, 4,000 t silver and 14 t gold, making the smelter the world's largest lead-gold-silver smelting plant. The oxygen bottom-blowing smelting reduction technology is used as the main process of lead smelting.
